Beekeepers are seeing more and more killer bees

Killer bees:

Killer bees and what you know as honeybees are the same family. They can interbreed easily, and they do, given half the chance. This is why we are seeing killer bees spreading throughout Florida. Doing bee removal in Orlando or Tampa has its share of killer bees; I have even seen killer bees up north when doing bee removal in Jacksonville and St. Augustine. But killer bees come from the tropics of Africa (they are called African killer bees); they are the wild cousins of our domesticated bees, and they like the heat. That’s why we are seeing more and more killer bees in Southern Florida. They think they own the place. Don’t take a chance! If you don’t know, then call a beekeeper. Your life might depend on it.
